Routes included

All routes provided from the original Great Grundorf 2 LHT/RHT.

Installation

  1. Backup all files if necessary. 
  2. Clean install all the supported vehicles above as to avoid any possible conflict. You may install sound and tune addon by MB Workshop for 38XX and 60XX if you wish to.
  3. Unzip all files to OMSI/Vehicles.
  4. For 38XX and 60XX Only: If you have installed any sound and tune addon by MB Workshop, move the files inside 0_MB-Workshop_Sound Addon to OMSI/Vehicles, replace if necessary.

Destination Codes

Regular Destination Codes:

For outer bound, input the route number directly.
For inner bound, input the route number and Z.
(Outer bound refers to the destination on the left in the manual, where inner bound refers to the right.)

Example:
78 to Peninsula Beach: 78
78 to Grundorf Bay: 78Z

Remarks

Route Selection on TelarGO controller

  • If you’re using this addon with the LHT edition GG2, Please select routes with a suffix of Z if available. Although the RHT edition uses a different target for displays, but the stopreporter is included for future support of any fictional RHT vehicles which uses the TelarGO stopreporter system by Gx7767 Studio.
  • Choose “70SP” if you’re playing route 70 via cemetery. No special display is made for this variation.
  • Choose the 1st destination for circular routes. (Except for 70E and 78E, which operates in a ‘fake-circular’ behavior.)

Compatibility

As we have made many modifications to the scripts, we cannot guarantee that this file works with other addons or vehicles.

We have considered the compatibility of this addon while developing, Other .HOF addons should work if no modification to the script was involved. Please do report to us if you’ve found any issues while playing with other addons after installation.

The use of this add-on should not affect any HOF which requires the following 3rd party mod/addon(s):

  • NWFB 38XX DDU Section Addon by Tangent Workshop
  • Any TelarGO add-on involving adding total page counts

No scripts are used from the add-on list above as such function is achieved by an improved algorithm which handles the issue in an elegant way.

Fonts in animations

  • Johnston styled fonts which CTB uses were used in the welcoming animation. 
  • There are modifications to the font of Arabic digits in real life around 2018. We didn’t follow this modification since this addon was made to use with the TelarGO system.

Known Issues / FAQs

Q: The bus stop animations are different to the sounds A: As there are too many stops covered in this addon, we used information provided in the GG2 manual, which may be different to the soundtracks included in GG2. You can report such issue to us be we cannot gurantee any updates.
Q: The broadcasting ringtone is played many times before the stop name for replayed announcements on long-haul routes.
A: We believe this issue is fixed, but we are still unsure why this issue occur.
Q: This inputting function of the TelarGO controller is laggy.

A: We have set a slightly long refresh time for the scripts as to avoid large demands to the processing behind.

Q: This inputting function of the TelarGO controller does not show routes with an English letter prefix after entering the numerical suffix

A: The logic is slightly light weighted as to reduce the load to system, thus such function is not implemented.

Q: The arrival soundtrack/animation for terminus is broken.
A: This is due to the mechanism of OMSI timetable system and we do not have a fix yet.
Q: Route 91 features Krankenhaus instead of Krankenhaus (North) for all display units and stopreporter sound track.
A: This is an official setting used in .HOFs for D92.
Q: This mod does not support OMSI 1?
A: This is due to various script modifications using new commands from OMSI 2. We currently do not have plans to provide an OMSI 1 variant for this addon.
